WHO ARE WE?
Omega Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, Inc. is the first non-collegiate co-ed Greek service organization catering to individuals with disabilities and welcoming to all backgrounds, ethnicities, creeds, and gender expressions.

On January 4, 2020 three women from Dallas Texas founded Omega Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, Incorporated because they felt an obligation to do more to serve their communities. Omega Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, Incorporated is one of the few Greek letter organizations that specifically focuses on servicing the needs of local communities.

OUR FOUNDERS
Lai Taylor
I often felt guilty as a child when I saw people on the street corners saying there were hungry or thirsty. I would give them whatever I had: money, food, shoes and even clothes off my back. I asked my mom why these things happened to those people. I wanted to know why we get to eat, and they do not. She told me it was their choice. Something in me thought that could not be true for everyone. As I got older, I started asking these folks to share their own stories and what I heard blew my mind. I decided at that moment that I wanted to help change this problem and at that point 40 years ago, I started my first true day of service and have never looked back.

I started loving service at an incredibly early age. Something just excited me at the thought or opportunity to help someone else. I have been part of several organizations and assisted with their platforms of building service. This led me to co-founding TAS to better serve my community. I believe that everyone deserves a helping hand. So, every person that I feed, clothe, and transport safely is helping my local community to move one step forward to better days.
